Dear SPR-member,

Since January 25th new relaxations have been communicated from the government. This message summarizes what it means for athletes and clubs immediately:

Sport
  • All indoor and outdoor sports activities are allowed again, including competition sports.
  • The Sports Center is open again according to regular opening hours.
  • Corona admission ticket: Because we have indoor sports buildings with mixed use of education and sports, a QR code needs to be checked when used by external people. This means that QR codes will be scanned on Wednesday and Friday evenings after 6 pm and on Saturday and Sunday in the Sports Centre (including the tennis bladder halls) and the WAS at Zernike.  In case of use by outsiders at outdoor sports venues, a corona access card is required when using indoor facilities. For example in canteens, locker rooms or toilets.
  • Even with a Corona access card, mouth guards remain in effect
  • Dressing rooms and showers in the Sports Center are open again. Where possible shower and change clothes at home, due to limited space due to the 1.5m distance rule.
  • If it is necessary for the practice of sport, keeping 1.5 meters distance is not mandatory. Do keep 1.5m distance outside of sports.
  • Also, keep the the basic rules in mind to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
  • Crowd at competitions are allowed between 05:00 and 22:00. However, the public must maintain a fixed place at 1.5 meters distance from each other. For indoor sports, a fixed seating area applies; for outdoor sports, fixed standing areas can also be used.

Horeca
  • The Sportsbar is open until a maximum of 10:00 pm.
  • There is a corona admission ticket requirement when third parties enter the Sportscentrum. (E.g. competition matches)
  • For rules regarding mouth masks, the 1.5 meters distance rule, and all other catering rules see:

Basic Rules
The following basic rules apply:
  • Wash your hands often and thoroughly.
  • Give each other as much space as possible. 1.5 meters remains a safe distance
  • Stay at home with (mild) symptoms and get tested immediately by the GGD. Even if you have already been vaccinated!
  • If you test positive: stay home and avoid contact with others, even if they have been vaccinated.
  • Cough and sneeze into your elbow
  • Make sure there is enough fresh air and ventilation in indoor areas

Face masks at sports venues
Indoor
  • Facemasks are required to be worn indoors. During sports activities the mouth caps may be removed.
Outside
  • Everywhere where it is not possible to keep 1.5 meters distance before and after sports, it is advised to wear a mouth cap. During sports, no mouthguards need to be worn.
Type of mouth mask
  • It is recommended that a medical facemasks of at least type II-R be worn.

Best regards,
The 76th Executive Board of the ACLO & Management of the Sports Center
