Running training - Rink Hooijsma
The SPR running group is a small and frequently changing group of (ex)employees of the RUG and the Hanze University. The age and (running)background is very diverse, but we all share a love for running. People have come and gone over the 2 years of the group’s existence. PhD candidates successfully defended their theses and moved on to continue their career elsewhere and new people showed up to prepare for the 4Mijl and continued to show up after the event.
We run on Thursday starting at 12:15 at Zernike. The work outs consist of a warming up followed by a running work out that may consist of distance/recovery runs, tempo runs and/or interval work outs. Usually after the warming up
some time is dedicated to “running technique” exercises.
We start at the back entrance of the ACLO sports center every Thursday at 12:15. Our coach/trainer is Rink Hooijsma.
