Social Safety

At SPR, we believe it is important that everyone can enjoy sports in a safe environment. 
We therefore expect SPR members to treat each other with respect. 
This also applies to trainers, instructors, and (sports technical) staff involved in providing SPR sports activities. 
The SPR Code of Conduct (adopted at the SPR General Members Meeting on 9 April 2025) confirms the SPR's standards and values and sets out a number of principles for compliance.
Look out for each other and apply the principles set out in the code of conduct in all situations.

Confidential contact person (CCP)
The SPR considers it important that anyone with questions, doubts, comments or complaints has someone to talk to about them. 
To this end, we have appointed two confidential contact persons (CCP). 
The CCP is the first point of contact within the SPR for anyone who wants to discuss anything related to inappropriate behaviour. 
Our CCP is there for everyone within the SPR, including the sections. The CCP will listen to your story, give advice and refer you to someone else if necessary.
In addition, the CCP helps the board to prevent inappropriate behaviour and to promote a socially safe sporting environment for everyone.
